Heritage Green is planned to be Charles County’s most outstanding
new recreational planned community. It will become an intrinsic part
of the historic town of La Plata, Maryland, located less than a half
hour South of the Capital Beltway via Route 5 and Route 301. The development
team will work closely with one of the nation’s best planning
and urban design groups to assure that Heritage Green reflects the
style, architecture and neighborly values of the historic Chesapeake
area and La Plata, Maryland. All of us are united behind an
urban philosophy that will help Charles County go forward with smart
growth that will preserve its essential way of life, while leaving
the surrounding environment untouched to retain the traditional character
